Earlier in April, our amazing students from Conrad Weiser Middle School had the incredible opportunity to attend the PA GIS Conference at the prestigious Penn Stater Hotel in State College, PA. They delved into captivating virtual reality simulations and discovered firsthand how GIS technology is revolutionizing Pennsylvania! Dr. Drzyzga, from Shippensburg University, recognized our students' hard work and presented them with certificates to honor their achievements in the annual ESRI Middle School/High School Mapping Competition. MS FFA members Aubrey Craft, Kenny Manbeck, Liam Meredith, Scarlet Neider, and Riley Skelton spent the day at Millersville University accepting their award from the Farm in the Classroom Hydroponics contest. These students designed a hydroponics unit and will be building it from the ground up in the coming weeks under the direction of advisors Tabitha Meredith and Bill Sellars. Their day today included a tour of the Tech Ed and Science departments along with meet and greets with multiple contest sponsors and current students.
